Aurinko nousi ja meni saman tien piiloon.
The sun rose but the light was immediately taken away by the clouds. But she is still there...

There´s a message in the sky. The wind is from the north and it carries massive clouds with it. They stayed for a week. It is raining at the moment. More SWF photos can be browsed here.
Happy swf-tour!
Sometimes the sky can clearly enough be seen in a puddle after heavy rain. See more SWF-pictures.
A cloudless sky was an exception to the rule last summer. At least, at the places I happened to be. This picture was taken at Söderfjärden on Aug 17, 2008. Go and have a look at more SWF pictures here.
Which is to win today? Cloudiness or sunshine? What is it like elsewhere?

We had a thunder storm yesterday. It was still raining when we realised that we were under the rainbow. Knowing how short these magic moments are I dashed out to find a place where I could capture this view. We are surrounded by trees. I would have liked to have been somewhere higher.
Under the rainbow. Go and see this week´s Sky Watch pictures here.
This day (Wednesday this week) was unusually cloudless. At the moment the sky is grey, again. I don´t think we´ll see the solar eclipse today. You can see more SWF pictures here.
I don´t really know much about the amount of problems after starting digital TV broadcasting in Finland. What I know is that it costs a lot... Time will tell if it was worth of all that money. There´s no turning back. In the 50s they used to call the antennas "Bankruptcy rakes". Let´s hope history won´t repeat itself.
Is it a UFO in the sky in broad day light, I wonder. There seems to be a new look and more than 170 entries already in the Sky Watch Friday host blog.
If there wasn´t that line in this picture we wouldn´t have electricity. Browse more Sky Watch Friday shots here.
We had a lovely sunny Midsummer Eve until 6 pm when this picture was shot. It is warm though and there´re lots of mosquitoes. No matter what the weather is like, enjoy the Midsummer skies in the northern hemisphere here all of you!

Some of you may remember this old photo of mine. I was so tempted to link yesterday´s picture as a Sky Watch Friday entry. Lucky me, I remembered this one. Aren´t they of a kind?
Tom&Jane seem to be thinking of starting a blog of its own for Sky Watch Friday. No wonder! Have a look!
One did not have to go and watch Adex 08 on the spot. It took one by surprise while driving in Central Finland yesterday.
